Live Bands

21 the difference

(10am - 12 noon Saturday & Sunday)

21 the Difference is a Mount Airy based band specializing in covering country, rock, pop & R&B, while writing and performing their own originals. The band is fronted by Kelley Larson, who has recorded in Nashville, and leads the group with her powerful and unique vocal style. Her fellow band mates surround her, each having vast musical ability and talent. 21 the Difference started out as an acoustic duo, but had since become a high energy band that found instant chemistry and spark from the first note they played together. The fun they have on stage is contagious, and you will find yourself tapping along to the beat, or getting up and dancing at every show. The band performs all over the Baltimore metro area and has even started to play in Ocean City. Catch them today!

the mp 4

(3pm - 5pm Sunday)

Jon Rogerson: Guitar
Jon is one of the most influential Guitarists in the Baltimore/DC/Annapolis area. He has a smoothness to his lines that only Barry White could challenge and a dirty side that rivals the grunge/metal seen of the 1990’s. He is a gifted musician and a pleasure to perform with in any situation.

Eric Trudel: Tenor Saxophone
Eric both performs and teaches all over the Baltimore district. He has a way of commanding his instrument to the point of convincing the audience they are hearing an entire horn section, As well as make them cry during the sweetest of love ballads. In either situation you don’t want to miss his performance.

Mike Gambone: Drums
Mike is a wonderful drummer who has complete control of time and space I swear there are moments he has taken me into the future. His unique ability has landed him a position in the soon to be famous band The Bridge. Mike has performed all over the world with his band, from Hawaii to Germany and Japan, but he has not forgotten his roots of playing jazz in smokey nightclubs.

Bob Brooks: Bass
I currently perform and teach mostly in the Baltimore area. I teach at The Musicians Institute of Baltimore, and Music Land as well as privately. I have played with many different groups throughout the past including Chris Pastore and Bob Brooks, The Country Devils, Derivative and LVT. As a freelance musician I have performed in many other projects from musicals and operas all the way to the A.A.Lutheran gospel choir. From Gospel to Bluegrass and everything in between, these experiences have taught me the true flexability of the musical language. I met Jon Eric and Mike while at attending Towson University. The four of us quickly gravitated together and have been playing music for almost ten years now. I feel extremely lucky to be surrounded with such amazing musicians and hopefully the audience will enjoy the experience as much as I will.

Circle of Firecircle of fire

(12:30pm - 2:30pm Sunday)

Circle of Fire is a four-piece band originally focused on covers of vintage classic rock, stripped down blues, and acoustic alternative rock, but now we're taking our own music to the people with some newly arranged kick butt originals! Based in the Bel Air area of Harford County Maryland, we're looking to expand our horizons into the Balto/Wash/Annapolis concert and festival scene. Our inspirations include a diverse blend of artists including Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin, Lucinda Williams, Allman Bros, Aimee Mann, Bob Dylan, and Susan Tedeschi, etc. Darlene Coomes, one of the original founders of the band, belts out her heartfelt lyrics to create a smoky vocal sound above her favorite Taylor acoustic guitar. This long time singer/songwriter has taken the leap to the full band, and she's lovin' it!! Joe Puleo plays a driving lead guitar, an occasional rich acoustic, and sometimes even a sweet slide (if you're lucky!). A former member of I-95, a New York based rock-n-roll band, Joe's been working on bringing his gutsy guitar edge into Dar's vocal mix for a coupla' years now. Ken Malecki on bass and occasional vocals was involved for many years in the “original music scene" in Baltimore and Annapolis as a member of Dark Carnival and Zelma's Sauce, and he shares a creative low end thing along with drummer Jeff Adams, who also helps out on lead and background vocals with Dar. Take a listen, check our schedule, and come on out and help us rock the joint! Circle of Fire, we dare to be different....

happy hour studio

Enjoy the unique artwork of four women who come together as Happy Hour Studio. With lots of gift ideas, original artwork, prints and home decor, these ladies have something for everyone.

About Happy Hour Studio & Jessica Watson
These unique drink paintings first hopped on the scene roughly five years ago when artist Jessica Watson (graduated McDaniel College, 2005) embarked upon a quest to capture the personality of a drink. She started with a simple Manhattan, Cosmopolitan, Fuzzy Navel, and Martini, but soon expanded to include others. Eventually clients began to put in special orders for their favorite beverages so they could display them proudly on their walls. Watson branched out to include hot teas and flavored coffee.

Soon she was booking Happy Hour shows to showcase the exclusive collection. Within time, Watson discovered a niche market and a way to share these tasteful artistic creations on a global scale through her website. Happy Hour Studio is for the social drinker who does it with class and a style all his/her own. She invites you to get your drink on by browsing through the www.happyhourstudio.com website and supporting the arts.
